Our pastoral family, Joel and Stephanie Nulty, welcome you as you visit the website of Erin United Methodist Church and would also love to welcome you in person to the church sometime! Their relationship with the church stretches back over 25 years. On a couple of occasions, Joel has been asked to serve among the congregation of Erin UMC. Joel was officially appointed as pastor in July 2025. As a bivocational minister, Joel served other United Methodist Churches in the area. In 2020, Joel retired from UPS after more than 30 years of service. He has a Bachelor's Degree from Bethel College and a Master's of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Stephanie is employed by the state of Tennessee. The couple have two adult daughters. Melanie lives in the Nashville area with her beloved dog, Elvie. Michelle and her husband Brad live in Clarksville. They have one son, Ripp, and their dog, Savage. Joel and Stephanie live in Cumberland City, TN with their two dogs, Harley and Chalky.
Joel and Stephanie love traveling, spending time with friends and family, and love outings to the various places in which Joel often plays music.
